Petra Vanhoof
Lead Instructor
Petra has worked on autonomous navigation systems for over a decade. She teaches both group cohorts and individual learners, adapting the pace based on what the student already knows rather than a fixed syllabus.
Two formats, one clear path
Choosing between a group session and a private lesson is not about skill level — it is about how you learn best. Group sessions give you peers to think alongside. Individual sessions let you slow down on the parts that actually need more time.
Sessions use claude AI-assisted exercises to simulate real robot decision-making scenarios. You work through problems that a deployed system would face — sensor noise, ambiguous instructions, conflicting objectives — with an instructor present to catch where your reasoning breaks down.
-
Group Sessions
Up to 8 learners per session. Structured around a shared problem set. Good for staying accountable and hearing how others approach the same material.
-
Individual Sessions
One instructor, one learner. The agenda adjusts to what you need that day. Useful when you are working on a specific project or stuck on a particular concept.
